Christian Lee Navarro’s portrayal of Tony Padilla on Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why is phenomenal. However, his role as a gay high school teenager might have rubbed off onto his off-screen life as well. Fans were under the impression that he was also gay in real life following his on-screen enactment. It turns out; there is more than meets the eye with Christian Navarro. Let’s finally dispel all the rumors and lay them to rest once and for all, shall we?
Christian Navarro is not Gay.
While the Netflix-based actor has often shown his support towards the LGBTQ+ community, he doesn’t conform to their ways. Christian Navarro is not gay at all. On numerous interviews, he has often made it clear of his admiration towards female boxer Paige VanZant as well as his crush on Hollywood A-lister, Hailee Steinfeld.
To reiterate even further on his sexuality, the 13 Reasons why star also has a bevy of women lined up as his ex-girlfriends. Though he never revealed their names, there was one that stood out above all the rest. Her name’s Alina Sheherzad Akhtar Raja or Shazi Raja for shorts.
Like Navarro, Shazi Raja is also an actress who landed a substantial role on HBO’s High Maintenance. Her filmography also shows that she had minor roles in movies like Brad’s Status, Salvation, and God Friended Me.
The pair’s relationship got off on an intimate level with Raja once referring to Christian Navarro as his brother, according to an Instagram post back in 2015. However, a year later, their love had burst out into a fully-fledged relationship as portrayed when Shazi called him ‘baby’ when wishing him a happy birthday. Sadly, the couple broke up in 2017 for reasons best known to them.

Known for keeping his personal life under wraps, the big reveal as to who his girlfriend was, came to a little while later when fans identified her as Kassidy Ramirez. The gorgeous bombshell is an American based model with over 12K followers on Instagram.
Christian Navarro and girlfriend Kassidy Ramirez spent an awful lot of time together and shared snaps on the gram. They went on vacation at Four Seasons Resort in Maui, and he also invited her to the premiere party of 13 Reasons Why’s the third season in August 2019.
Sadly, as of 2020, the pictures of the couple are non-existent and were taken down. Moreover, Kassidy Ramirez’s Instagram Profile was also deleted.
